This website presents Boningale Developments’ emerging proposals for a sustainable residential development on Land at Perryfield Road, Baschurch.
The development would include new housing, public open space, associated landscaping, drainage, and infrastructure.
A scheme is being developed with a view to submitting an outline planning application at the close of this consultation period. This website sets out our vision and proposals for how the site could be developed and the potential benefits it could provide.
Shropshire Council will also notify local residents once the planning application has been submitted, providing further opportunity for the local community to comment.
Online Consultation will run until 18th December.

Boningale Developments are also hosting an in-person consultation event on 4th December at Baschurch Village Hall, from 4pm-8pm.
The Vision
Our vision for the land at Perryfield Road is to create a high-quality development of up to 199 new homes, including affordable housing, thoughtfully designed to complement and respect the existing character of Baschurch. The site offers a logical and sensitive extension to the village, with access provided via Perryfield Road. The existing Public Right of Way will be retained and will ensure strong pedestrian links throughout the scheme and into the wider community.
The development would also provide generous public open spaces, including a children’s play area, and significant areas of landscape buffering and sustainable drainage features, for existing and new residents.
Variety of high-quality housing - Development proposals will provide up to 199 new homes, including affordable properties, designed to meet local housing demands and reflect the existing character of Baschurch.
Contributing to the community - The development provides opportunity for community facilities including a new play area, and we are keen to hear what may be of interest to the local community, such as a community orchid or trim trail.
A greener way to live - Creation of new open spaces, including a new children’s play area, alongside green spaces designed to support local wildlife and enhance biodiversity through additional planting and habitat creation.
A truly landscape-led design - Preserving existing trees and hedgerows where possible to maintain natural character, accompanied by new planting to create tree-lined streets and enhance the overall green infrastructure.
Permeable and Sustainable - A permeable movement hierarchy and a thoughtful design approach will guide the layout, alongside a high-quality sustainable drainage strategy.
